God chooses 'the nobodys'... 1 Cor1:26-29

By reading the bible, it seems that God takes pleasure in revealing His awesome power by thru His chosen people. Whom does He choose? People who the world would declare as... foolish, weak, lowly & rejected ... the nobodys & the nameless. Those least likely to succeed... these are the ones He picks. God loves the underdog.

As we read in the life of Moses and Gideon... as God revealed His desire to use them to deliver their nations... both men immediately came up with strong arguments on why they definitely were the wrong guys for the job.

Moses emphatically declared noone would believe him, plus, he had a speech impediment that was like a mountain blocking any type of speaking ministry for him.

Gideon pleaded his case by telling the Lord that he was from the lowest tribe of Israel, the poorest family in the tribe, and the smallest member of his family.

Both told the Lord..."you got the wrong guy"!

What was God's response... ? "I... will... be... with... you"!!

The end result? God's plans & purposes were fulfilled regardless of the disabilities of His men! Why? When God chooses us for His divine tasks He is looking at His Ability to get the job done... not our credentials or degrees. Heaven is looking for your availability & willingness.

If God has chosen you for a particular task, rest assured He knows what He is doing (even when you don't). He knows all about you and still chose you! Why? Noone else would respond... they were too wise, too mighty, or, too noble. (1 Cor 1:26) I might add... maybe too busy... with more important matters?

When God spoke to me in night vision to "Preach the Gospel"... I had no idea what 'preaching' was. Definitely, I was not the right guy for the job! I feared rejection plus the promised destructions voiced by crazed passersby! Yet, God urged me into the crowded streets of our town to proclaim Jesus to listening ears... He compelled me to make my car into a signboard for all to read about God's salvation. I built an 8ft cross that mounted atop the car for... special ocassions! Next,God told me to start praying for the sick... right out in public, no less! I had never done such things... I was not... 'qualified'... but,... God was! And, He still is!

Today, even if you think yourself to be insignificant or filled with too many shortcomings to count... and you don't see how God could ever use you (or would want to)... cheer up! He is ready... if you are ready!

When Jesus chose His apostles many scholars questioned how He could possibly have made such bad choices... especially after praying all night long. Such ordinary people... chosen for such extra-ordinary tasks!

Heaven is waiting on you and I to step forward in response to His call to save the lost... at any cost. God's power, wisdom & angels are here to help us get the job done same as in the days of old!

God is still choosing ordinary people for extra-ordinary jobs.

B) Healing the Sick Seminars: The time is ripe to train God's people 'How to Heal the Sick'! People are still dying from cancers & diseases they make up new names for! God explicitly commanded us to 'heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, & cast out devils" matt 10:7,8

*note: as insignificant and full of shortcomings that I am... I have been privileged to see cancers, blindness, cripples,etc healed, in Jesus' name.
Last week... had the 3rd opportunity to raise someone from the dead... Unfortunately, we were... 'interrupted' and, the child was buried at 3pm the same day. I cried, fasted and stayed at God for a number of days.
2 days later ... prayed for someone's mother, dying of cancer (end stage), semi comatose, no bowel movements, nothing... Today, she is eating, passing stools & urine freely and growing stronger (doctors can't figure it out)
Also, Today... rec'vd call for prayer from a sister... went to ICU ward at the hospital... 62 yr old brother, liver is gone, kidneys have failed, unstoppable bleeding in the liver area, breathing on respirator only (doctors requesting to take him off oxygen). I went, taught the promises of God to the family, went in & prayed. Nothing... (yet) God promises we "shall lay hands on the sick & they shall recover"... whether it is instant or over some time, "they shall recover". I am waiting for news of the symptoms changing! I am also ready... to pray for God to restore His spirit if He allows the brother to die. God is sovereign!
Now, listen, if God can use me... certainly He can use you!
