"Go in... and Possess the Land" Deut 1:8

The Lord had just shown His people a beautiful land, flowing with milk & honey… and, Promised that He had already given it to His people, Israel. However, there were inhabitants already dwelling in this land of promise! So God gave further directions to them in Numbs 23:53: "Go in and disposses the people... and possess the land"! So, with God’s power, their swords, spears & armor they went forward and drove out the enemies of the Lord and possessed their promised land!

2006 years ago the Lord has given each of His people the promised land thru the Cross of Jesus Christ! Colos 1:13 says that God has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son! We are now in The greatest Kingdom of all, Jesus Christ reigning as King! We have been set free from every sickness & disease, every poverty … anything that may be listed as a ‘curse’. Christ has already set us free from it (Galations 3:13,14; Deuter 28:15-ff).

But… like the land of promise, we have to take some action to ‘possess’ the land before us! There may still be some ‘inhabitants’ trying hard to remain in the land. For example, the word of God now declares that, ‘by Christs’ wounds we were healed’! Yet, some disease may still be in this body of ours which now belongs to Christ. So… what do we do? We take our ‘Sword of the Spirit’, the Word of God, and drive the enemy out. How? Do what Jesus did when tempted by the devil… open you mouth wide, and speak for the Word of the Living God… "Body, did you hear, By Christ’s wounds I was healed, therefore, sickness, pack up your bags and get off of God’s property, in the Name of Jesus”!!

Today, dispossess the enemy and … go in and possess what is now rightfully yours! Jesus will back you 100%. It is His Promised Land to to all of us!
