My dear Brothers &
Sisters,
You and I have the power... to 'make a difference' in our generation, on this earth!
In this letter I am going to challenge you to begin to arise & increase in this Heavenly calling... to make a difference in your world! You CAN make a difference!
You and I are capable of changing our schools, our communities, our nations!
We can make a difference by helping 1 person at a time, or, millions. It's up to us.
If you think "what can I do? How can I make a difference, just little ol' me?" then probably you will simply stay the same & continue to live for yourself only. Yet, God has placed 'others' all around you so that you can... make a difference in their lives & futures IF ... you arise & get involved!
The word of God declares that in the days of the 1st century church just a few believers had "turned the world up-side down" thru the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ! Just a few people, working together, were able to accomplish this great feat!
God says, And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. Act 2:44, 45 So those who had excess of goods & possessions were moved to dispose of them and use the monies to help get the gospel preached as well as take care of the needs of their blood-washed brethren who believed in Jesus!
Jesus also said that once we leave this planet all of us are going to be part of a day of reward, When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of His glory: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Mat 25:31,34
An inheritance has been prepared for us all! A day of Heavenly reward awaits us.
This is God's idea, For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. And, our reply may be, "Lord when did we do all these things unto you...?" And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto Me.
Mat 25:35-6. Some of our rewards will depend solely on what we have done for others in their need! Yes, For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. Mark 9:41 God is bizy preparing your rewards... every day!
Yes, everyday, we can make a difference in our neighborhood, city or nation, by getting up & helping others. We can be like Jesus to those in need! Ephesians 4:28 says, Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. That's God's perspective of why we are blessed with monies & work... to help others!
Here in Nagaland, we are soooo blessed! Daily & weekly we find out about different needs of families or students around us... lives that we CAN make a difference in... IF we move forward to help them out. And, so... we do! Students that didnt have enough tuition fees to be re-admitted to school, a family that didnt have rent amount and the landlord was threatening... someone else who couldnt afford the cost of the medicine needed for their loved one in the hospital... little here, some there...
all the time... making a difference! What about you?
There are sooo many ways to make a difference in people's lives, you just need to keep your eyes, ears & heart open... & be ready to help others! Maybe you can assist someone's promotion or getting them a job by making a few phone calls on their behalf. Maybe you have some extra and know someone that has a need and you can slip them an envelope of blessing. God will bring these items to your attention because He has designed for you to make a difference!
Yes, you and I are God's hands & feet in this earth! He is ready to help... thru you! And, remember... as you are busy being a miracle for someone else... God is busy preparing your own miracle that you've been praying for! Wow!
Here are just a few ways you could make a difference in your world...
*Make a Difference... among the Poor & Homeless:
There are plenty of poor people around that are hungry that you could share some food with (or some of your old clothes?)
 
Here Pastor G receives a gift of 50kgs rice, lentils, & monies... to help us with our Feed The Hungry program that we hold for the homeless residing at the railway station! God is telling us, "Son, keep doing what you're doing! You are My hands & My heart among the broken & rejected ones"
  
Jesus said, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that My house may be filled. Luke 14:23 So, along with the food, we encourage each person to trust in the Lord's salvation! You, too can do the same! Just start!
*Make a Difference... in the Hospitals & Nursing Homes:
There are plenty of sick people in hospitals you could visit & pray for...
 
Here our teams go to the most needy souls attending the gov't hospital.
 
Sometimes mother's in the maternity ward start to go in labor without doctors present due to overflow of needy patients...
 
Others we find in hopeless situations, who could not afford the medicine or treatment... yet, the little in our pocket... can be a miracle for them!
*Make a Difference... in the Prisons:
There are prisoners sitting in prison... just waiting to see God's love thru you...
Testimony: In 1995, Pastor was spending 2 months in jail for being foolish with his life. Every weekend was family visitation day. Week after week, noone came... until, one day... a christian family who had found out about his predicament, came unexpectedly to comfort him with love. This melted is heart & helped him to turn his life over to Jesus Christ.
Years later, this same ex-prisoner is now going to prisons, police, military & the streets sharing God's message of love!
*Make a Difference... by Lending a Helping Hand:
There are people that could use some man-power help (that they don't have)...
 
Here, our boyz are preparing flex signs to post for Mother's Hope who is doing a tremendous job offering the christian solution of adoption in place of abortion!
 
Mother's Hope also needed to spruce up their compound & cut down jungle...
 
as well as clean up floors & walls. We had the people ( & the desire ) and our little effort... made a great difference in ther lives! You, too, can do the same!
Folks, I encourage you to take a good look at your life... at your time & your resources, and,... start investing your life in the needs of others around you!
Taste & see how your life CAN, in fact, make a REAL difference...
when you use it to help others!
You can make a difference now... & for ALL eternity, once you reach Heaven & God rewards your life of sacrifice on that great day! Live... for eternity!
